Shen Yun Tickets version 8.04 contains the following list of enhancements and fixes.

    1. STRIPE 3D SECURE (NEW FEATURE): Presenters (merchants) using Stripe can now enable 3D Secure (3DS) authentication through the SYT system configuration, as an alternative to setting up Radar rules within their Stripe account. Please contact support@shenyuntickets.com for more information. 3DS adds an extra layer of protection for credit card transactions by requiring customers to verify their identity with the card issuer during checkout — for example, through a popup prompt to receive a one-time passcode (OTP) via text or email. This helps reduce fraud and enhance payment security.

      Several factors influence whether 3D Secure (3DS) authentication is triggered, including whether:
      1. the card issuer’s bank enforces 3DS
      2. the card issuer’s bank supports 3DS
      3. the merchant configures the account Radar rules to request 3DS
      4. the cardholder enrolls their card in 3DS

      Currently, the EU, U.K., Bangladesh, India, Japan, Malaysia, Nigeria, Singapore and South Africa require 3DS for online transactions.

    1. ANTI-SCALPING WARNING FOR SALES USER (IMPROVEMENT): The 'Ticket Limit Exceeded' popup now appears to warn sales users of potential scalping activity, allowing them to make an informed decision on whether to proceed with the order.

    1. ANTI-SCALPING - APPLE PAY & GOOGLE PAY (IMPROVEMENT): The 'Ticket Limit Exceeded' popup now appears for potential scalper using Apple Pay or Google Pay, consistent with the traditional payment methods. Previously, only a warning message was displayed beneath the pay button.

    1. LOCK EXCHANGE (IMPROVEMENT): During the order exchange flow, sales users can unlock the ‘Exchange’, ‘Cancel Order’, and ‘Convert to Gift Card’ buttons located on the Order Summary page by clicking the 'Stop Exchange', 'Clear Cart & Go Back', 'Clear Cart & Go to Event', or 'Clear Cart & Go Home' buttons on the seating chart and payment pages.

    1. CHECKOUT PAGE - HANDLING MULTI-TABS (IMPROVEMENT): When a customer adds tickets to their cart and has multiple tabs open for the same event schedule, the system will alert them that their cart has been modified. The customer will need to refresh the page to view the latest changes before proceeding with the purchase.

    1. MY ORDER ANNOUNCEMENT (IMPROVEMENT): You can now display a custom announcement or alert (e.g., weather updates, delays) on the My Order Status page for a specific event's schedule. Please contact support@shenyuntickets.com if you need this set up.

    1. E-TICKET LINKS (IMPROVEMENT): By default, the 'Resend my e-tickets' link is no longer visible on the My Order Status page and the 'View Mobile E-Ticket' link is no longer visible on the Order Confirmation email. E-tickets are more convenient for resellers or fraudsters to resell tickets, removing links to e-ticket helps to discourage them from buying orders. Purchasers using e-ticket delivery will still receive a separate email with their e-ticket and barcode. If you prefer this link to be displayed, please contact support@shenyuntickets.com.

    1. RELATED ORDERS (IMPROVEMENT): Previously, the Related Orders page grouped orders solely based on the billing email of the selected order, matching it with both billing and shipping email addresses across all orders.  To make it easier to identify potential resellers, the Related Orders page now includes three additional sections: 'All Orders Sharing this Billing Phone', 'All Orders Sharing this Shipping Phone', and 'All Orders Sharing this Shipping Email'.

    1. SMS OPT-IN (IMPROVEMENT): The SMS opt-in checkbox labels in the shipping and billing sections have been updated to clearly distinguish between opting in for tickets and reminders versus receipt and order confirmation.

    1. PREVENT ISOLATED SINGLE SEATS (IMPROVEMENT):    When an event is configured to allow the system to adjust customer seats to prevent isolated single seats and prevents customers from reversing the change, a popup will now appear on the seating chart page. This alert notifies the customer that their seat has been modified by the system, giving them the option to either proceed with the change or stay and select a different seat.

    1. PREVENT ISOLATED SINGLE SEATS (FIXED): When an event is configured to allow the system to adjust customer seats to prevent isolated single seats and allows customers to reverse the change, the 'Your seat was adjusted' popup now appears to notify users when their seat selection has been moved over one seat to minimize isolated single seats.

  1. CHANGE PASSWORD PAGE (FIXED): The Change Password page no longer incorrectly displays an error message stating that the current password is invalid when it is actually correct.

 

REPORTS

    1. NEW DELIVERIES REPORT (NEW FEATURE):  The 'New Deliveries' report is now available to SY Admin users. This report displays orders filtered by selected delivery methods. To ensure expedited shipping orders are handled promptly, we recommend setting up automatic email and SMS notifications for your shipping and handling staff to receive on a scheduled basis. This feature is intended to replace the BCC order confirmation email. Please contact support@shenyuntickets.com to have this set up.

    1. ACCOUNT BALANCE STATEMENT (IMPROVEMENT): The Account Balance Statement report now displays user notes in the Adjustment Notes field, instead of the online marketing organization's name.

    1. SPECIAL SEAT MANIFEST (IMPROVEMENT): A 'Ticket Status' multi-select dropdown filter has been added to the Special Seat Manifest report, allowing users to refine results based on multiple ticket statuses.

    1. TICKET MANIFEST BY SCHEDULE (IMPROVEMENT): The Ticket Manifest by Schedule report now sorts the ‘Seats’ column in numeric order. Additionally, a new 'Show Price' checkbox has been added, allowing users to choose whether to include or exclude the Price column in the report.

    1. AMOUNT CURRENCY FORMAT (IMPROVEMENT): The Ticket Certification, Special Seat Manifest, and Order Analysis reports have been updated to display amounts in a short format, based on the respective localized currency.

  1. ADMISSION DETAILS (FIXED): The Admission Details report now correctly displays the original Order ID associated with the canceled ticket barcode.

    1. MY ORDER - CANCELLATION (FIXED): The My Order self-cancellation modal for Virtual Bank payments has been improved to ensure all user input fields are fully visible on mobile devices.
