EVENT MANAGERS
- REFUND GIFT CARDS (IMPROVEMENT): The system now supports refunding gift card purchases.
- GIFT CARD NOTIFICATIONS (IMPROVEMENT): Even managers can create and send customer notifications to gift card holders, including the ability to only send to those who have not yet redeemed gift cards.
- GIFT CARD EXPIRATION (IMPROVEMENT): Gift card expirations can be set as length of time instead of a fixed date. For example, "2 years."
- AUTO-HOLD SEATS FOR BEST AVAILABLE (IMPROVEMENT): As an option for events that may sell out very quickly, the system now supports a mode of Best Available where seats found are immediately held for a short period of time giving the customer time to add to cart.
SALESPEOPLE
- NOTIFY SALESPEOPLE BEFORE HOLD TICKETS EXPIRE (NEW FEATURE): When holding tickets for customers, salespeople may choose to enable an auto-notify so they will receive an email when the ticket hold is about to expire.
- AUTO-POPULATE CUSTOMER INFO DURING GIFT CARD REDEEM (IMPROVEMENT): When redeeming a gift card, on the sales checkout page, the customer name and email associated with the gift card will be auto-populated in the recipient information fields.
- RESET GIFT CARD NUMBER (IMPROVEMENT): Sales managers may regenerate gift card numbers for customers in the event they lost theirs and want to make sure no one else uses it.
CUSTOMERS
- REFER-A-FRIEND (NEW FEATURE): Customers may now send friends and family a beautiful email referring them to see Shen Yun, helping customers promote the show via word-of-mouth. Here is a demonstration for how this works: Watch Video
