Shen Yun Tickets version 7.39 contains the following list of enhancements and fixes.
- SMS - SHORT URL (IMPROVEMENT): When a customer clicks the short URL in the SMS message, a comment will be logged in the Order History section of the Order Summary page to assist with customer support.
- SMS - CONTACT INFO (IMPROVEMENT): The logic for the 'Change Recipient Shipping Info' and 'Change Customer Billing Info' windows has been improved. If the phone number is left blank and the SMS Opt-In checkbox is checked, the user will now be prompted to enter a phone number before proceeding.
- USER PASSWORD (IMPROVEMENT): User password now must be at least 12 characters long and include at least one lowercase letter. This new requirement will apply only to new password setups, changes, and resets. Additionally, users are prohibited from reusing their last 10 passwords. After multiple failed login attempts, the account will be locked, and an email will be sent with instructions on how to unlock the account.
- CUSTOMER SERVICE REQUEST (IMPROVEMENT): A new Customer Service Request (CSR) flag ‘Default for Cash/Check Refunds’ is now available for store and site configuration. When configured, it ensures that a CSR is created with the Responsible Area automatically assigned and notifications are sent after an order is refunded by cash or check. If this flag is not setup for a store, the SYT Call Center will be assigned as the default Responsible Area. For support, please contact support@shenyuntickets.com.
- EMAIL ADDRESS LENGTH (IMPROVEMENT): The character limit for the shipping and billing email address input fields has been increased from 40 to 320 characters.
- CART PAGE - NEXT BUTTON (IMPROVEMENT): On the Cart page, for events with only one payment method, the button label has been updated to ‘PAY WITH CREDIT CARD’ instead of ‘NEXT’.
- SEATING CHART & CHECKOUT (IMPROVEMENT): The 'Add to Cart' button color has been changed from purple to soft tangerine on the Seating Chart page. The 'PLACE MY ORDER' button font size and weight have been increased on the Checkout page for improved visibility.
- PRODUCT LANGUAGE ITEM (IMPROVEMENT): The Product Name and Description fields are now configured as translatable language items to support localization.
- ORDER SUMMARY - PRINT (IMPROVEMENT): The 'Print Confirmation' has been renamed to 'Print Order Summary' on the Order Summary page for clarity.
- SMS - TIME ZONE (FIXED): The time zone for Order and Cancellation confirmation SMS notifications has been updated from UTC to the local event time zone.
- CHECKOUT PAGE - EMAIL (FIXED): Improved cursor focus on the Checkout page to prevent users from accidentally appending their first name to the email address field.
- EVENT LIST PAGE (FIXED): The Event Schedule List page will now display the hotline number and event location for impacted events.
- ORDER SUMMARY - ADDRESS (FIXED): For Switzerland and other countries outside the US, when the city and state/province are the same, the Order Summary page will now display the city instead of leaving it blank.
REPORTS
- EVENT SETTLEMENT REPORT (IMPROVEMENT): The 'Total Amount Due to Shen Yun Tickets' and 'Amount Due to Shen Yun Tickets' will now reflect the intended currency on the Event Settlement Report.
FOR JAPAN
- PAYPAY PAYMENT (NEW FEATURE): The new PayPay payment method is now available for Japan.
- BENEFITONE (NEW FEATURE): BenefitOne members can click the buy button to be re-directed to Japan's ticketing site, where they will receive a discount on their order.
