Shen Yun Tickets version 7.36 contains the following list of enhancements and fixes.

  1. WAIVE ORDER PROCESSING FEE (NEW FEATURE): The 'Waive Order Processing Fee' option has been added to the Discount Code configuration at the store and event level. Please note that this discount feature applies only if your events charge an order processing fee. This feature does not apply to most Shen Yun events, which generally charge only a ticketing fee.
  2. SMS - GIFT CARD (NEW FEATURE): Customers purchasing gift cards on tickets.shenyun.com (US site) can now opt to receive SMS notifications that include a gift card confirmation short URL link and a reminder that the gift card code will be sent via email.
  3. SMS - ORDER HISTORY (IMPROVEMENT): When a user subscribes to or unsubscribes from SMS, a corresponding comment is added to the Order History section on the Order Summary page.
  4. SMS - BILLING PHONE (IMPROVEMENT): An additional SMS opt-in checkbox has been added beneath the Billing Phone number on the payment page. When a patron subscribes to SMS notifications for the billing phone number, the label 'SMS (Opt-in)' will be displayed next to the billing phone number on the Order Summary page. Additionally, an SMS opt-in checkbox has been added to the 'Change Customer Billing Information’ popup window.
  5. SEATING CHART - ALL-IN PRICING (IMPROVEMENT): For events utilizing all-in pricing (where ticket prices are displayed with fees included), updates to the seating chart page include displaying the legend price excluding tax, incorporating the order processing fee into the subtotal, and showing the total fees excluding tax. All-in pricing is mandatory for some regions, so please contact support@shenyuntickets.com if you would like this option enabled for your events.
  6. SEATING CHART - LEGEND (IMPROVEMENT): For event using all-in pricing, the text 'This event uses all-in pricing: Prices include fees.' now appears at the top of the ticket legend section.
  7. EVENT SCHEDULE SALES STATUS (IMPROVEMENT): In the Change Schedule's Sale Status popup window for the corresponding schedule, the 'For Customers' setting now features a new sub-status dropdown if the primary status is ‘Open.' The sub-status signifies whether the schedule is in Internal Review, Private Sale, or Public Sale. Additionally, the 'For Call Center Staff' setting has been renamed to 'For Service Center Staff' and in the schedules list grid, the 'Call Center' column has been renamed to 'SYT Call Center.'
  8. DELIVERY METHOD DESCRIPTIONS (IMPROVEMENT): Delivery method description settings (for checkout page, Order Summary, Order Confirmation, Reminder email) have been moved to the ‘Delivery Method’ store and event settings, and the 'Delivery Method Descriptions' store setting is now deprecated.
  9. CANCEL ORDER - NEW GIFT CARD (IMPROVEMENT): When a sales user selects the ‘New Gift Card’ refund type on the Cancel Order page, a new checkbox labeled 'Don't send GC email/SMS to customer' appears. Checking this box will prevent the redeem Gift Card email or SMS notifications from being sent. This function is useful for service agents utilizing gift cards for complex exchange actions.
  10. PENDING/CLOSED CSR (IMPROVEMENT): On the Pending/Closed CSR (Customer Service Requests) page, the 'View Report' button has been renamed to 'View Pending Report.' Clicking this button now displays a report with an additional 'Status' column.
  11. MESSAGES AND ANNOUNCEMENTS (IMPROVEMENT): Revised the help text for Message and Announcement event settings to ensure accuracy. Additionally, the 'Seating Chart and Best Available Announcement' configured text will also be displayed on the Best Seats Available pages.
  12. MY ORDER PAGE (IMPROVEMENT): The 'Download Invoice' button is now hidden on the My Order page for orders that have been canceled.
  13. GREY BAR CONFIGURATION (IMPROVEMENT): Increased the character limits for the 'Theater Info' and 'Special Handling' grey bar fields to accommodate more content.
  14. SEATING CHART -  GREY BAR (FIXED): Restored the grey bar popup window on the seating chart page to its original size.
  15. PRINT ORDER CONFIRMATION (FIXED)Resolved the text formatting issue on the Order Summary Print Confirmation page for both Firefox and Chrome browsers.
  16. SEND SEATS EMAIL (FIXED): Updated the Send Seats email design to enhance readability and align with the new season image.
  17. SEARCH FUNCTIONALITY (FIXED): Enhanced search functionality to properly handle queries with single quotes on the Store list, Display Auditorium, Pending/Closed CSR (Customer Service Requests), and Confirm Payment pages.
  18. SHIPPING & HANDLING (FIXED): The 'Sort By' functionality now accurately supports sorting by Order ID and Last Name on the Shipping and Handling page.

 

UI DESIGN

  1. HOME PAGE - PERFORMANCE (IMPROVEMENT)Enhanced home page loading time to improve user experience. 
  2. HOTLINE NUMBER ON MOBILE (IMPROVEMENT)When a customer clicks the hotline number on the event schedule page from their mobile device, the phone dialer will disregard any text in parentheses (such as phone extensions).

FOR CANADA

  1. GIFT CARD - CURRENCY (IMPROVEMENT): The currency displayed on the 'Personalize Your Gift Card' purchase page will now match the 'Default Currency' setting for the event, replacing the previous default of 'USD' for Canada events.

 

FOR JAPAN

  1. ORDER SUMMARY (IMPROVEMENT): Revised the details in the Payment Method column of the Order Summary page for the Konbini payment method.
