Shen Yun Tickets version 7.31 contains the following list of enhancements and fixes.
- PAYPAL GUEST CHECKOUT (IMPROVEMENT): Presenters offering PayPal payment can now add Guest Checkout option by contacting support@shenyuntickets.com. Guest checkout gives customers the option to check out using a debit or credit card without having a PayPal account login.
- NEW REFUND TYPE - CREDIT CARD DISPUTE (IMPROVEMENT): The "Credit Card Dispute" refund type is now accessible on the Cancel Order page for SY Admin and Store Admin. This enables presenters to handle customer credit card disputes more effectively, thereby improving accounting accuracy.
- ORDER HISTORY - VIEW EMAIL (IMPROVEMENT): Sales users can now view all system and Customer Notification (CN) emails in the Order History section of the Order Summary page, with email subjects and send statuses included in the Notes. The "View Email" feature enhances user capability to assist customers more effectively by providing comprehensive email details for reference.
- REMINDER EMAIL - MULTIPLE ORDERS (IMPROVEMENT): Patrons with multiple orders will now receive a Reminder email for each individual order, rather than receiving only one email. This will address patrons' concerns regarding the validity of their other orders.
- EVENT SETTING - RESET BARCODE (IMPROVEMENT): If the Reset Barcode setting is enabled for a non-full-service event, then the system will not generate new barcode(s) when a user changes the delivery method to "E-Ticket" or will call.
- RESET BARCODE - CHANGE DELIVERY (IMPROVEMENT): If the Reset Barcode setting is enabled for a full-service event and a sales user changes the delivery method of an existing order to E-Ticket or will call, then a help text will appear on two screens of the Change Delivery flow. The help text alerts the user that a new barcode will be generated.
- RESET BARCODE - MY ORDER (IMPROVEMENT): If the Reset Barcode setting is enabled for a full-service event and a patron selects "Hold my tickets at theater (will call)" on the My Order page, then a help text will appear to inform the patron that new ticket barcode(s) will be generated.
- RESET BARCODE - E-TICKET (IMPROVEMENT): If the Reset Barcode setting is enabled for a full-service event and a sales user changes the delivery method to E-Ticket, then both the E-Ticket email subject and body will explicitly state that new ticket barcode(s) have been generated for the order.
- TICKET STATUS SEATING CHART (IMPROVEMENT): Seat information displayed on the Ticket Status seating chart page now include additional details such as “Door” or “Aisle”.
- MANAGE ORDERS - SEARCH KEYWORD (IMPROVEMENT): The "User Inputted Promotion Channel" option has been added to the "Search keyword in" dropdown menu on the Manage Orders page. This allows users to search for both user-inputted and predefined promotion channel values, ensuring comprehensive search results.
- DISCOUNT CODE - ENTER MY OWN CODE (IMPROVEMENT): The "Enter my own code" field on the Add Discount page now only allows hyphens, $, %, numbers, and letters.
- NO PHONE NUMBER AVAILABLE CHECKBOX (FIXED): If a sales user selects the "No phone number available" checkbox on the Checkout page and proceeds to place the order, the relevant warning error messages will still be displayed if any required fields are left empty.
- EXCHANGE - CHANGE TO SHIPPING (FIXED): If the original order is E-Ticket and doesn't have an address, when a sales user initiates an exchange and switches the delivery method to shipping, a warning pop-up will remind the user to add an address for the order.
- HOLD TICKETS - CHECKOUT (FIXED): When a sales user goes from the Hold Ticket page to Checkout page, removes seats, and then clicks "Add More Seats", it will no longer display an error message.
- CHECKOUT PAGE - EMAIL FIELD (FIXED): The email field in the Delivery section of the Checkout page is now visible when a patron pays using "PayPal Express Checkout".
- CART PAGE - SEATING CHART (FIXED): If a server error occurs on the seating chart page after the patron successfully adds an item to the cart, the system will not clear out the cart.
- EVENT HOME PAGE & CART PAGE - CITY ADDRESS (FIXED): "New York" city text is no longer blank on the event home page and cart page. The city and state address now displays "New York, NY".
REPORTS
- EVENT SETTLEMENT CREDIT CARD DISPUTE (IMPROVEMENT): The new refund type "Credit Card Dispute" is included in the Event Settlement Report.
- ACCOUNT BALANCE STATEMENT (IMPROVEMENT): The header and footer of the Account Balance Statement Report have been changed to "Traditional Culture Reviving Center".
- ADMISSION DETAILS (IMPROVEMENT): The "Scanner ID" (last to scan the QR code) column is added to the Admission Details report to help troubleshoot scanning issues.
- BARCODE EXPORT (FIXED): New ticket barcode that was reset is now exported to the Barcode Export report.
- EVENT SETTLEMENT REPORT - TICKETING FEE (FIXED): When a sales user places an order with Complimentary payment and applies a code (discount or voucher), the code will not take effect after the user clicks “Place My Order”. On the Event Settlement report, the Ticketing Fee in the "Amount Waived for Patrons" section will not include complimentary tickets.
FOR NON-USA
- ORDER CONFIRMATION - CURRENCY SYMBOL (FIXED): The correct local currency symbol is now displayed on the Shipping & Handling Print Confirmation, Order Summary, and Order Confirmation for the non-USA ticketing sites.
FOR KOREA
- PHYSICAL TICKET - RECIPIENT NAME (IMPROVEMENT): On the physical ticket template, the “Recipient Name” field has been updated to display the recipient’s name, rather than the customer’s name. This will streamline the will call pickup process for greater efficiency.
- CHECKOUT PAGE - LOOKUP ADDRESS (FIXED): When a sales user clicks the "Use" button of the Lookup Address feature on the Checkout page, it will populate the selected recipient address.
- MY ORDER - HOLD TICKETS AT THEATER (FIXED): The translation item for "Hold Tickets at Theater" is now displaying appropriately on the My Order Status page.
