Shen Yun Tickets version 8.02 contains the following list of enhancements and fixes.
- NEW DISPUTE REFUND TYPES (IMPROVEMENT): The new ‘PayPal Dispute’, ‘Apple Pay Dispute’, and ‘Google Pay Dispute’ refund types are now available on the Cancel Order page for SY Admin and Store Admin users to process a disputed charge. This allows presenters to address customer disputes more efficiently, leading to improved accounting accuracy and better overall management of order cancellations.
- MANAGE ORDERS - DEVICE TYPE (IMPROVEMENT): The 'Device Type' column has been added to the Manage Orders page to indicate whether an order was placed using a desktop, mobile, or tablet. This additional information can be helpful for customer support and troubleshooting.
- MOBILE ONE-PAGE - PAYPAL (IMPROVEMENT): For the mobile one-page checkout, if only the PayPal REST payment method is set up for the event, the payment method button(s) will now appear in the ‘Payment’ section in addition to being displayed at the top in the ‘Express checkout’ section.
- MOBILE ONE-PAGE - UI/UX (IMPROVEMENT):
- Improvements have been made to the mobile one-page checkout page, including better handling of the credit card expiration date input, pre-populating of the billing and shipping country and state based on the event venue address, and enhanced overall validation.
- When a customer selects seat(s) that require the display of a seat message (e.g., selected seats are not together, etc.), the Order Summary section will now automatically expand and display the seat message below the seating chart image.
- When the ‘Review Cart Message’ event setting is configured, the text will be displayed at the bottom of both the 'Express checkout' section and the ‘Payment’ section.
- ORDER SUMMARY - MOBILE E-TICKET (IMPROVEMENT): When a customer clicks 'Mobile E-Ticket' from the Order Summary page, the Mobile E-Ticket page now displays in the mobile layout rather than the desktop layout.
- MOBILE E-TICKET & REMINDER EMAIL (IMPROVEMENT): The Auditorium Gate Label configuration value is now displayed under the 'Order No. and Recipient Name' section of the reminder email if it is set. Additionally, this value is dynamically shown on the mobile E-Ticket, replacing the fixed 'AISLE/DOOR' column label.
- REMINDER EMAIL - CUSTOM TEXT (IMPROVEMENT): In the reminder email, the custom text intended to notify customers of additional information about the event has been repositioned to appear before the "Know Before the Show" section, rather than below it.
- ADDRESS AUTOCOMPLETE (IMPROVEMENT): On the sales user checkout page, the shipping address autocomplete dropdown list is now sorted based on proximity to the venue, rather than the user's IP address. Additionally, the width of the dropdown has been extended for better visibility on both the patron and sales user checkout pages.
- CANCEL ORDER (IMPROVEMENT): Previously, when a sales user attempted to cancel an order with an invalid billing phone number, the system would display an error message and prevent the cancellation until the phone number was corrected. Now, if the billing phone number is invalid, the system will proceed with the order cancellation and display a warning message, "SMS could not be sent due to an invalid billing phone number.
- REMINDER EMAIL - HOTLINE PHONE (FIXED): Both the reminder email preview page and the actual email received by the customer now display either the corresponding site or event local hotline phone number instead of the US site hotline phone number.
- ANTI-SCALPING - MAX TICKET PER ORDER (FIXED): The system now triggers a warning popup when a customer adds tickets to the cart on the “Best Seats Available” page that exceeds the allowed limit.
- ANTI-SCALPING - MAX TICKET PER PERIOD (FIXED): The system now calculates the total number of tickets purchased by customers with the same identity (e.g., billing email, phone, address, etc.) across all Shen Yun ticketing sites to determine whether a warning popup should be triggered when placing an order. If the cumulative total exceeds the allowed limit within a specified time frame, the system will display a warning popup.
- ANTI-SCALPING - MAX TICKET PER PRICE (FIXED): The anti-scalping logic to prevent customers from adding more than the allowed ticket limit for a specific ticket price is now based on the total quantity of tickets with the same ticket price, rather than the total number of tickets the customer intends to add to the cart.
- SEATING CHART - SCHEDULE DATE (FIXED): The selected show date and time text on the seating chart page now display in the correct language, according to the site's locale settings.
REPORTS
- EVENT SETTLEMENT REPORT (IMPROVEMENT): The new refund dispute types (PayPal Dispute, Apple Pay Dispute, Google Pay Dispute) have been added to the Event Settlement report where relevant.
- SPECIAL SEAT MANIFEST (IMPROVEMENT): Canceled orders are now excluded from the Special Seat Manifest report to ensure it reflects only relevant information.
FOR AUSTRALIA
- SHIPMENT TRACKING PAGE (IMPROVEMENT): If an order has a shipping tracking number, the customer will receive a Shipping Confirmation email with a link to the Shen Yun Tickets Shipment Tracking page. On this page, the Australia Post tracking URL has been updated to the new URL, replacing the previous beta URL.
FOR KOREA
- CHECKOUT PAGE - TRANSLATION (IMPROVEMENT): The Korean site now utilizes the same standard language translation mechanism as the other Shen Yun ticketing sites.
- CHECKOUT PAGE - NAME VALIDATION (FIXED): The checkout page now validates that the ‘Name’ field contains both the last and first name by ensuring a space separates them.
- CHANGE DELIVERY METHOD (FIXED): The validation and error messages on the Change Delivery Method page have been enhanced to support the combination of the last and first name into a single ‘Name’ field.
- MY ORDER - SELF CANCELLATION (FIXED): The issue preventing self-cancellation submissions from going through has been resolved on the My Order page.
